Poet, writer and musician Henjo Hekman has a collection of about 2500 ‘parallel cards’. These are postcards in which the same images are repeatedly used, but referring to different places.

By chance I came upon a portion of Hekmans collection in a hotel on Dutch island, Terschelling. With the permission of Hekman, I’ve used his parallel cards to create the panoramas in this publication.
